About Carol Ann

Focusing now primarily on the therapeutic aspects of Yoga as a whole-health practice, and as part of her holistic approach to physical, mental, and spiritual training, Carol Ann teaches traditional Hatha Yoga based on the precision and alignment of Iyengar Yoga, with the heart-opening and meditative aspects of Purna Yoga, as a practice of personal transformation – a way to open the heart as well as the body, developing compassion, clarity and inner stillness.
Carol Ann received her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification through Kripalu Yoga Center and her 300-hour Yoga Teacher Certification through Academy of Yoga, qualifying her to register with Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level. Her years of teaching have earned her the designation “E-500”, or experienced 500-hour Yoga Teacher. Carol Ann is also registered with the International Association of Yoga Therapists, where she participates in the International Symposium on Yoga Therapy and Research. She frequently travels to participate in continuing education classes and workshops with well-known teachers, re-dedicating constantly to both education and practice.
